2. Introduction

Curcumin is a kind of brown powder extracted and crystallized from turmeric. It can dissolve in ethanol and alkaline

solutions and has good heat stability. The product is widely used in cakes, candy, can carbonated drinks, pickles and

other products, as it has high medical value such as reducing fever, stimulate the appetite and invigorating the spleen,

ventilated and coloring. It is widely used in pharmaceutical industry.

Turmeric Oleoresin

It is refined from turmeric. It has a red brown color, viscous liquid appearance and has a special aroma. The main

composition is curcumin and turmeric oil. As a food colorant, it can be used in meat, farm products, sugar products,

4. Application

1. Turmeric extract is mainly used in many foods as a coloring in cheese, beverages and cakes;
